Philip Armstrong

A recognized innovator in the financial service industry, Philip was responsible for many industry-first initiatives over the course of a 40-year career. He was a founding partner of Altamira Investment Services that grew from $100 million of assets under management to manage over $15 billion .

While CEO of Jovian Capital he established the first  Canadian independently owned ETF company, Horizons ETF. He is a former Chairman of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada and the Mutual Fund Dealers Association, a SRO. In 2015 Philip’s was awarded with the Morningstar Career Achievement Award.

Philip holds a  Bachelor of Law (Hons) from Manchester Metropolitan University.
