Senior Vice President & Associate Portfolio Manager

Fluent in French, English and Arabic, Omar manages Forstrong’s existing relationships with advisors and financial institutions across Canada and educates prospective investors on the benefits of Forstrong’s investment solutions. He also works collaboratively with the marketing team to help tailor customer journeys that help drive stronger, more valuable customer relationships.

Prior to joining Forstrong Omar worked as a sales and service manager for a large global ETF manufacturer. Previously, he performed increasingly important sales roles within a large schedule A Canadian bank. Omar holds a BSc in economics from Université de Montreal, a Graduate Diploma in Finance from McGill, the CIM designation, the CFA Level 1 and is currently working on obtaining the CIWM designation.

Music/DJing, traveling and any outdoor activity that requires physical exertion are high on the list of Omar’s passions.
