What is Forstrong’s policy on currency hedging?

The global FX market is the largest most liquid market in the world, and just like many other investments, it can experience periods of under and overvaluation. Although many global managers are currency inert; choosing to hedge or unhedge local market currency exposure, active currency management is an important risk mitigation tool for Forstrong. This is especially important when managing global fixed-income exposures where currency fluctuations can have an outsized effect on returns.

How often are Forstrong strategies rebalanced?

Forstrong completely rebalances it’s investment thesis at least once a quarter. On a monthly basis, we rebalance positions if they fall out of our tolerance zone. Occasionally, if market moves are excessive, Forstrong may rebalance as an extension of active policy.
